In 2019, Coach Allan Trimble created the Extra Mile
to honor the parents and caregivers of children with
special needs by providing a free night of respite care
for children ages 3 to 13 years old.
This year, each family will receive a $100 Hal Smith Gift Card to enjoy a delicious meal at any Hal Smith Restaurant- whether you use it that evening or save it
for another special occasion, it's our gift to you.
You will receive your Gift Card when dropping off your child at 5:00 PM at The Park Church of Christ.
Pick me, I want to volunteer!
Your generous gift of time and service makes this event attainable.
All Volunteers must be present for the duration of the event. From 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM.
We truly appreciate your willingness to serve with us!
If your child requires supervision beyond the ability for you to focus on your assigned position. We respectfully request that you make other arrangements for your child that evening.
We will be in contact with you in late September to share your event assignment. Shirt and Chick-fil-a dinner will be provided.

It will allow us to provide a complimentary dinner for two, for each family during the event. While parents and caregivers enjoy their dinner, their children enjoy a meal and evening full of activities, in a safe and medically supported environment.

Evening Accommodations
As a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs, you go the Extra Mile every day!
We are excited to honor you by providing a free night of respite care. All children in attendance of the Extra Mile event must be between the ages of 3 to 13 years old.
