"Man, I don't know about you, but this past year has been a real whirlwind for me.
From being able to enjoy my oldest daughter's beautiful wedding a few weeks ago and soaking up the joy and happiness that goes along with celebrating with beloved family and friends all the way to celebrating another year of life and my one year anniversary of being diagnosed with ALS. I even retired for two days!
My journey has been all over the map lately and sometimes it's hard to keep my plow in the ground because of the worry and concerns that surround me.
Being blessed to live in the power and presence of our awesome God and the prayers, thoughts and concerns that so many great people have lifted up on my behalf is overwhelming! It has rekindled my spirit, changed my perspective, refocused my goals and filled my sails with plenty of air! In fact, the Lord has been such a blessing that I want to share this experience with you.
Maybe your life is overwhelming as well, maybe you're in a joyous position or maybe you're in a moment of trial and desperation, maybe your heart is broken and your worry and concern is getting the best of you at times. Either way, wherever you are on your journey, know that our awesome God is walking every step of the way with you.
I want to encourage you to join us next Saturday night, July 15th at the ORU Mabee Center for the Night of Legacy Event. I would like nothing more than you to join Alan Robertson and enjoy a great message of Hope, Joy and Love that can only come from serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Alan will share personal stories and some great family humor as he presents a message everyone needs to hear.
I sincerely hope "A Night of Legacy" will be an inspiration to each of you! See you there!"
